Well, friends, this would certainly go down into the history books as one of the most exciting T20Is to have taken place. The pitch wasn’t a belter of a track owing to all the rain we have had in this part of the globe and thus we didn’t see a high scoring game.

But even 142 was going to be a tough chase for the Pakistanis and it certainly proved to be so. Regular wickets kept India in the equation all the time and who knew that despite Misbah’s blitz, this match would be decided by a bowl out. Sreesanth bowled two great deliveries to keep India alive. New rules and it kept everyone guessing.

Well, at the end of the day, India emerged as the winners. So, the punch line of the night for the Indians would be “Bend it like Beckham???” Or “Drag-Flick it like Sohail Abbas???” Nay!!! For the tournament at least it should be “Hit out or Get out”.
